Job description:

As Center Manager at NRU, I have various administrative tasks involved in the daily operations and activities of the center, e.g., preparing budgets for fund applications, leading legal contracts/agreements and VEK and data protection notices, overseeing NRU's publication production, maintaining NRU's websites and coordinating our annual reports.

As manager of the Cimbi database, I am responsible for the functioning of the database (implemented in SAS), for the development of new functionality, for different data control initiatives to ensure quality of data stored in the database, and for extraction of data to researchers. You can read more about the database here, but in summary the database is our core ressource in which we gather all research data stemming from all test subjects participating in our different neuroimaging projects.

Research-wise I have previously developed a clinical software tool that can provide fast, accurate, and highly reproducible quantification of DAT SPECT images from patients referred to our SPECT laboratory for establishment/exclusion of the diagnosis of parkinsonian syndromes. The tool is called DATquan and it is freely available here.
