Scientific interests

My main interest is “Signal and Model Based Diagnostics” which concerns extraction of information from measurements on patients and comparison of this information with medical knowledge represented by mathematical models and computer simulations. My early research has focused on automatic sleep analysis. Currently, I am working as a system administrator on the CIMBI database where we collect a lot of information from test subjects participating in our different PET experiments. Besides that, I am doing research connected to the data analysis group at NRU. Lately, I have been working on a clinical software tool that can provide objective and highly reproducible quantification of [123I]PE2I SPECT images from patients referred to our SPECT laboratory for establishment/exclusion of the diagnosis of parkinsonian syndromes.
