Scientific interests

I am currently involved in kinetic modelling of PET data, especially from Flumazenil studies, focusing on different bolus and bolus-infusion approaches. With the background on mathematical modelling and signal processing, I am interested in applying data analysis and machine learning to neuroscientific data, also to the study of human auditory perception and cognition. My early research has focused on audio signal analysis, involving speaker recognition, music signal processing and context detection in sound, with special interests in the comparison of the outcomes of human cognitive activities with machine performances.
