Scientific interests

I am interested in cognitive function, serotonin receptor mapping and beta-amyloid deposits in patients suffering from depression and Alzheimer''s diseasse. My PhD project focuses on PET imaging of the cerebral 5-HT4 receptor in humans in relation to sex, aging and Alzheimer’s disease. The aim is to investigate the human in vivo 5-HT4 receptor binding with the novel PET radiotracer [11C]SB207145 in relation to sex, aging and Alzheimer's disease.

2004 - 2005 Internship at the Department of Medicine at Bispebjerg Hospital, Department of Abdominal Surgery at Bispebjerg Hospital and as a general practitioner
